Beatles and a Movie
This was made as a Christmas gift in 2009 for my 16 year old nephew. He is a HUGE Beatles fan and also loves movies. I'd purchased the movie fabric from the "Lights, Camera, Action" line a couple of years ago, buy never found a pattern I liked. When I found "The Beatles Yellow Submarine" kit, I used the movie fabric as backing. It turned out to be 57" x 66". I am very pleased with the way it turned out.
The quilt won the Viewers' Choice, Lap Quilts award at the 2009 Mokena Farm Fest Quilt Show. That was an exciting award for me to receive.
