Tammy’s Purple Mustang Meets the Statue of Liberty

This 30" x 27" wallhanging was made for my daughter Tammy’s birthday. Tammy has loved Mustangs since she was a kid. Her dad bought her a ’65 Mustang convertible for her 16th Christmas in part because he said it was purple, her favorite color. It was actually maroon. Tammy vacationed with her grandpa when she was small and has sworn for years that Grandpa took her to see the Statue of Liberty. He never did! Tammy’s purple Mustang and the Statue of Liberty have been family jokes for years. When I saw the Mustang pattern, I had to get it. I had no idea for a background fabric until I saw this with the Statue of Liberty. A perfect match.
