Making of a Quilt quilt
I had received a fabric panel showing steps to make a quilt in a gift basket. It took a while to figure out what to do with it. Since it was printed in red, I just pulled out my basket of red fabrics one day and started cutting them into 3" squares. I cut the panel apart and used the all my red fabrics as sashing. Since I didn't really plan the size, sometimes the sashing squares had to be cut off, but that's ok. The corner blocks include a button jar, a rotary cutter, scissors and a sewing machine. This was a great way to reduce the amount of red fabric I had. It ended up about 4' square.
