Christmas Card Holder

I found this beautiful blue Christmas line of fabric and bought some with the idea of making something for my mom because blue is her favorite color. I just didn't know what to make. I found a pattern for a card holder with a woven basket and thought this fabric would look great. So this was her birthday present that year (her birthday is mid-December). It turned out so well that I bought a little more fabric and made a 2nd one for my friend who also loves blue.
