The Block Marker Ruler

The Block Marker Ruler is 17" square with lines for blocks from 6" to 16". It has a dot to mark the center and slots to mark the corners of your blocks.

You put the ruler on top of your block, lining up the center dot on the ruler with the center of your block. Then, you can mark the 4 corners through the slots in the ruler. Finally, line up the edge of the ruler with your corner marks and use your rotary cutter to trim the block to the right size.

I'm amazed at the ease and accuracy this ruler provides when trimming multiple blocks for a project. It is a little pricey, but is so worth it. I got mine from Nancy's Notions .

If you've had troubles trimming your blocks, this is the tool for you!
