Binding Clips make sewing binding on your quilt very easy
When finishing your quilts with binding, I have found these binding clips so helpful. They are like extra hands. You can work them with one hand, while the other hand is busy holding the quilt or the needle.
They work just like those girls' barrettes that bend to open and bend again to close. After I machine-sew the binding to the front of a quilt, I use these clips instead of traditional pins to hold the binding in place on the back side.
Recently, I was ready to bind a small wall hanging I had finished. I had sewn the binding on the front and was pinning it to the back. After sticking myself a couple times, I remembered I had these clips in the drawer. I used them all around the little quilt and they made sewing the binding on an easy and painless (no more pricks) job. You can get them at your local quilt shop or at any online retailer, like Joann's or fabric.com or Keepsake Quilting.
