Aunt Esther's Cat

I made this little quilt as a donation for the Alzheimer's Quilt Project. They accept little quilts (up to 9"x12" I believe) as donations and then sell them on their site to raise funds for Alzheimer's research.

I made this one in honor of my Great-Aunt Esther. She was like a grandma to me, becaue my grandma (her sister) had died when I was very young. Aunt Esther had many cats over the years and would take them out into her garden to play. I like to think that she's one of the reasons we have so many cats now. My husband is the other reason, the big softie!
